Biography

Lauren McCall is the instructor of music technology at Spelman College, as well as a Ph.D. student studying music technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  As an alum of the Vermont College of Fine Arts where she studied music composition, McCall operates as an active music educator developing curriculum for the CS4All Project.

She enjoys bringing out students’ musical creativity through composition and music performance. McCall also enjoys writing music for various ensembles and interactive systems. Along with composing — McCall appreciates playing classical music and jazz on the clarinet and piano, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
