Biography

Dr. Naiomi Cameron is a mathematician specializing in enumerative and algebraic combinatorics. She shares her love of mathematics through teaching undergraduate courses like calculus, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, combinatorics and number theory, as well as through her mentoring of undergraduate research experiences. She is a proud HBCU alum, having received both her Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in mathematics from Howard University.

Over the course of her academic career, Dr. Cameron has served on the faculty of Harvey Mudd College, Occidental College and Lewis & Clark College, including two years as associate dean. She is passionate about promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the mathematical community through teaching, research and service, and she is honored to continue her passion at Spelman.
