Biography
Dr. Sophie Vainer is a native French from Paris and enjoys comparing her Parisian culture with her students' cultures and backgrounds. She specializes in Ekphrasis and the relation between visual art and poetry. She has published a dissertation about Yves Bonnefoy's poetic functionality. She also specializes in Francophone literature, the Novel and Translation.
