Dr. Vahid Vahidi got his PhD in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) major from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in June 2018. In July 2018, he started his career as a visiting assistant professor at Hanover College, IN, where his main responsibility was developing curriculum and lab structures for the new ECE program at the Hanover College School of Engineering. After a year, August 2019, he got a tenure track assistant professor position at the ECE department of Mercer University, Macon, GA. He served three years at Mercer University; however, he understood that his expertise in computer communication networks, internet of things (IoT), and robotics, along his abilities to lead undergraduate research projects, are perfect match to the Computer and Information Sciences at Spelman College.
